Division Overview

The USAARL Warfighter Protection Division (WPD) is comprised of three Branches
These are the Operational Survival Analysis Branch (OSAB), the Injury Biomechanics Branch (IBB), and the Airworthiness Certification and Evaluation (ACE) Branch. Our overall vision is to focus on injury prevention: primary protection in the identification of health hazards, secondary protection in the development of standards for better protective equipment, and tertiary protection in the advance of mitigating factors in the post injury phase.
